Internal Communications Manager
Veblen are working with a market leader in Luxury beauty, this international company are experiencing exciting changes and growth, and right now have a role as internal commination manager to take responsibility for a key area of the companies communications and deliver a fantastic service to a broad customer base. While you will also have excellent knowledge of social media, working with the media, websites, intranet development, internal communications, and producing regular newsletters and reports, you'll have a real passion to learn and continue to develop your career, and drive the business forward internally.
·Liaise with senior management to create an internal communication strategy,
·Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are effectively communicated to employees and stakeholders.
·Propose, and create content for the Internal communication mediums, manage the layout and bring new ideas and development strategies to the management, and art directors/designers
·Keep clients up-to-date of progress and answer their questions
·Utilise social media and internal platforms to communicate with staff, ensuring internal message are consistent.
·Deliver presentations at organisational events
·Respond to all feedback externally and internally
·Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation.
·Produce reports on activity and advise senior executives of developments throughout the organisation
Knowledge & Experience required:
·5-7 years communication experience is vital, internal communication, for a global organisation
·General journalistic or marketing experience is beneficial
·Writing skills, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees and research
·Interpersonal & relationship-building skills in order to work with all departments. You also need to possess the confidence to deal with senior executives and explain communication techniques to them.
·Creativity is essential when working with such a vivid company, the ability to devise strategies, and identify communication ideas
·Digital skills required and knowledge with It systems, especially digital and video means of communication, is essential.
·A BA in communications, journalism, public relations or marketing and/or a professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations or the Chartered Institute of Marketing is advantageous
