Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Senior Financial Controller is responsible for steering the company’s financial activities, ensuring accuracy in reporting, safeguarding compliance with statutory obligations, and strengthening internal controls. The role also supports strategic initiatives, provides guidance to the finance team, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to enhance financial efficiency across the business.

• Lead the preparation of financial reports and ensure that information is accurate, timely, and clear for senior‑level decision‑making.
• Manage the budgeting cycle and maintain rolling financial forecasts to support long‑term planning.
• Oversee day‑to‑day cash flow and treasury‑related activity to ensure operational stability.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial policies to support compliance and minimise risk.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure all necessary documentation is produced and reviewed effectively.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to finance team members to support their professional growth.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure financial data supports operational and strategic objectives.
• Contribute to wider business projects, including system improvements, international growth initiatives, and financial transformation work.

• Strong capability in financial reporting, analysis, and strategic financial planning.
• Confident working with modern ERP systems and financial platforms.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data clearly.
• Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to lead and mentor a small finance team, supporting their development.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, internationally focused environment.
• Professional qualifications in finance, accounting, or similar fields are advantageous.
